Swedish Krona - SEK

The Swedish krona (SEK), symbolized as kr, is the currency of the Kingdom of Sweden and one of the currencies of the European Union. Often referred to as the Swedish crown in English, "krona" means "crown" in Swedish. It is subdivided into 100 öre, although öre coins less than 1 krona were discontinued in 2010. The SEK was the ninth-most traded currency globally as of April 2016. Goods may be priced in öre, but transactions are rounded to the nearest krona for cash payments.
