Norwegian Krone - NOK

The Norwegian krone (NOK), often abbreviated as kr, is the official currency of the Kingdom of Norway, including its overseas territories. Traditionally called the Norwegian crown in English, it's subdivided into 100 øre, though øre coins were phased out in 2012. The krone was the thirteenth most traded currency in the world as of April 2010. It's also informally accepted in some areas of Sweden, Finland, and Danish ferry ports due to its proximity to Norway.
